Dr. Rock Heyman will be the guest speaker at UPMC Eye Center Grand Rounds on Friday, February 14th at 7 am. His lecture is titled "Update on Neuromyelitis Optica( Devic’s disease)". Dr. Heyman is Associate Professor of Neurology, Chief, Division of Neuroimmunology/Multiple Sclerosis at the University of PIttsburgh.  

Objectives:

-  Differentiate Multiple Sclerosis from Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO)

-  Understand Treatment Strategy for acute Optic neuritis relapses in NMO

-  Review Immunosuppressive treatment of NMO
