Peter Mortensen graduated summa cum laude as an undergraduate from Vanderbilt University in 2012 and then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2016.  He completed ophthalmology residency at UPMC in 2020 and then a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital under the direction of Dr. Andy Lee in 2021.  Since then, he has been employed as a full-time neuro-ophthalmologist and assistant professor of ophthalmology at Houston Methodist Hospital.
