Dr. Asad F. Durrani grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan and attended Johns Hopkins University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He was then elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan W. K. Kellogg Eye Center and served as chief resident in his final year. Currently, he is a second-year vitreoretinal surgery fellow at Wills Eye Hospital.
