Dr. Aparna Ramasubramanian is an ocular oncologist and pediatric ophthalmologist and has a joint appointment with University of Louisville Ophthalmology department and James Graham Brown Cancer Center. After her ophthalmology residency in Indiana University, she did an ocular oncology fellowship at Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia and a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is the author of the leading textbook on ‘Retinoblastoma’ and is the program developer for ‘Cure Retinoblastoma’ campaign by the Children’s Eye Foundation. She received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award in 2018 and treats both adults and kids with eye cancer in collaboration with the oncologists and radiation oncologists at James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
